Flash Card

Flash Card
A piece of cardboard displaying a
picture or word.
It is
a card bearing words,
numbers, or pictures that briefly
displayed (as by a teacher to a
class) as a learning aid.
It contains brief and straight to the
point messages.
It is also a small compact cards
approximately 10 x 12 in size.

Purpose:
Stimulation of memory.
Recognition of objects.

Present the flashcards.
Apply the information.

How to evaluate:
1. Determine how well the students accomplish the
objective upon which the flashcards are based?
2. Do reactions indicate the flash cards are
appealing to the students?
3. Are the arrangement of the letters or words in
the flash cards are convenient for the teacher
and learner?
4. Are flash cards big enough to be seen by the
students?

Pointers:
1. Arrange the flashcards before presenting
to the students.
2. Use bold letters and 2 height of letters and
numbers.
3. See to it that cards are made up of
cardboards.
4. Flash each card starting from the back of
the cards going to the front of the students.

Pointers:
5. Make sure that the answer is written (in small
size) at the back of each card so that the
teacher can immediately see the answer.
6. While flashing the cards, be sure the teacher is
lively.
7. While holding the cards, be sure that the fingers
will not cover the picture or letters of the flash
cards.

Pointers:
8. See to it that every student can see the cards.
9. As much as possible give a reward to a winning
group.
