I would like to take this opportunity to thank the respected faculty Dr. Deena P. Forkan for her
continuous guidance, support and encouragement for our upcoming presentation. Her
indispensable lectures and both class and home assignment have helped me to understand what
was necessary for developing this research paper. It is also true that I owe to a number of people
for helping me provide assistance to prepare this research paper. I express my deepest tribute to
all those friends and well-wishers who have helped, supported and motivated me in numerous
ways throughout this semester for my research paper and presentation most importantly the
interviewee who have helped me to provide me with data to complete my report.
Abstract
The report aims to enlighten the reader that what kind of perception is kept by the citizens of
Bangladesh regarding the core law enforcing agency of our country and that is the Police
department. In the primary section the report has described the purpose of the report and some
current situation of the department. On the next section the report analyses about different
questions that we want relevant topic that will enrich the quality of the report. Some of the
questions include what is the role and responsibilities of police towards the society, the level of
satisfaction of inhabitants from such law force and many more. On the next section the analysis
both from the primary and secondary analysis was give. In the end the report evaluated the match
with the hypothesis which is negative and doubtful attitude for the police force. Furthermore
some recommendations how such negative perception can be changed among the inhabitants.
Overall the report is enriched with descriptive analysis of the topic to make the research paper a
quality report.
