Vocational and Soft Skills training Project


It is the mission of EdLife to provide comprehensive vocational and skill based training to students
of India. It is our long-term goal to make every student develop their educational decisive terms
according to their own interest. The preferred training institutes are their but they are not able to
provide right guidance at right time.

The Objective
EdLife-Education For Life is a training company promoted by IIT and IIM Alumni. It
is guided under professionals serving this Educational and training industry from a long period. It
includes experienced corporate from the best institute of World. The Vision of the company is
getting the skills of every child acknowledged through education.

Goals
EdLife is a training company that strives with a vision to assist Coaching Center in the development
and growth of their presence and awareness students by way of vocational and soft skills training.
Our greatest satisfaction stems from the creative work and creating long term relations. Our
Services provide a full complement of training services which includes:
 Planning
 Designing
 Execution
 Control
Project concept

We have researched on the quality of students through educational research institutes and came to
many decisions along with. Their lies a big difference between the qualities of education provided
to students at national level and international level, the difference lies in the curriculum that is
prevailed in the institutes. We have to bridge a gap between the industry and job requirements and
the career decisive power of students.

From K-12 education this skill based training should be provided to every individual accordingly
that can help them to mould their career in right direction. It is not being a part of crowd but it is
about making crowd follow us. Doctors, Engineers, C.A’s, Lawyers and other professional are not
only lying options with students rather many new fields are entering in industry, but the concept is
using them according to our interest.

Why Coaching Centers:

Education is gaining more and more importance in today’s competitive scenario. It is not just
academics that students are expected to be good but also other extra curricular activities. This puts a
lot of pressure on the students and thus they require the additional training that helps them grow and
learn in a better way. So they are choosing coaching center those prevails various skills and learning
environment.

Also ‘coaching’ not just means to guide or direct students. It distinguishes them from others.
Coaching skills can be interpreted at two levels. Firstly, the skills applied by the coach to enhance
performance of the seekers and secondly, the skills required by the competitive careers, which need
coaching in the aspiring candidates. It needs to goal oriented.

How Coaching Centers are benefitted:


Coaching Center can have a very good campaign of providing vocational and skill based training. It
will be add-on guidance provided to students and thus will effect to image of the school. It
publicized Coaching Center to entail the education studies according to students’ interest.

Training Model for Coaching Center:

We have two modules associated:


1. Soft skills training: (10 Hours per student)

a) Interpersonal skills
b) Team spirit
c) Social grace (confidence building)
d) Business etiquette
e) Negotiation skills
f) Behavioral traits such as attitude, motivation and time management
g) Decision making
h) Problem solving
i) Stress management
j) Active listening
k) Leadership in a team

The best structure is that school are provided soft skills service at free of cost as it is adding
up benefit to the human resource development.

2. Skills based training (20 hours)

a) Vocational training (Retail, BPO/KPO, BFSI,ITES)

Cost to the Coaching Centers

In case student want to avails training certificate that is provided by Government Of India (GOI) ,
that can further add up to their qualifications, the students have to bear a charge of Rs 800 (Fully
paid up to government) plus a charge of Rs 500(management cost of EdLife). This total sums up to
Rs. 1300 per student per 20 hrs.

Revenue Model

Coaching Center can charge nominal fees according to their fee structure but we as EdLife is not
having any mean of that.

Who can avail this Training?

We are focusing on students from Grade VIII to Grade XII


As these students can righty be benefited with guidance?
We are in process of building modules for students of grade Kinder Garden to Grade VII.
Also we are targeting graduation and other students those are looking for jobs and preparing for
various entrance examinations.

Time used for Training

a. Ten to twenty Hours is required for the soft skills module


b. Twenty hours required in vocational training module

Faculty Biography:
Basically our faculties are from IITs and IIM Alumni who are having experienced in corporate.
They can guide properly to your students and can give tips about their future which is very helpful
for their choosing career.
