7th Grade Mathematics at El Camino Real Academy

First In MATH
Winners
Mrs. Romeros 7th grade
students have begun using the
First in Math online
program. For the month of
January, we have had 2 first
place winners. We want to
congratulate Jazmin Jacquez
and Juan Lozoya for achieving
the highest points in the
school. We also want to
congratulate the 7th grade
Bobcat Team for scoring the
highest points as a class. We
look forward to more high
achievers this new year.

Math is Fun!
Mrs. Romeros 7th grade math classes have learned to use the
writing in math RACED strategy and transition writing in math
into imovie tutorial videos. The students have created and have
been assigned word problems. With those, they have created a
tutorial to help others learn the math process and steps it takes
to solve them. The topics we have covered so far are the
Number System, Ratios and Proportional Relationships as well
as Statistics and Probability. Videos will be on our website to
view.

MSM National Conference 2016
February 19 20
Mrs. Romero has been selected to teach a workshop and present
her 7th grade students math tutorial imovie videos at the MSM
National Conference. Twenty 7th grade students will come along
and support workshop attendees with the math tutorial imovie
process. WE ARE SO EXCITED!
