Connotation
Obamaisbeing
tormented at the hands of small beasts holding different tools. Each
tool represents the trials he inherited with his presidency, such as healthcare reform, the war in
Iraq
, and the recession. It is unclear whether the artist feels sorry for Obama because of the
problems he has to deal with, or whether he thinks Obama sees these issues as a headache
because he doesnt really care? Perhaps he is just trying to show that many of society's issues have
a lot of factors that influence them. The one beast is reading to him, which could signify how we can
be controlled by information. Lending our ears to the wrong advisors may have devastating
consequences.
