Define Company Code in SAP

A Company Code in SAP is the smallest organizational unit for which you can draw individual Financial Statements
(Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account) for your external statutory reporting. It is denoted by a 4-character
alphanumeric code. The creation of a Company Code is mandatory; you need to have at least one Company Code defined
in the system, for implementing FI.
Two ways to Create Company Code in SAP

Create a New Company Code without Copying Existing Company Code


Create a New Company Code with Copying Existing Company Code

Define Company Code T Code: OX02


Path: SPRO > SAP Reference IMG (F5) > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Financial Accounting > Edit, Copy, Delete,
Check Company Code > Edit Company Code Data > New Entries
Steps 1 Enter all details related to Company Code i.e. Name, City, Country, Language, Currency, etc.

Steps 2 Click on Address (Shift+F5)

Steps 3 Click on Continue & Save

Steps 4 Click on Continue (Using a Same TR)
