Mothers Day
Story by Andrew Frinkle

Mothers Day is the 2nd Sunday in May. It is

a day to celebrate mothers and all that they
do for us. Today, over 150 countries celebrate
a Mothers Day, but they might have a
different date for it.
It is important to look at what mothers
bring to their families. Every mother is
different. Does your mother make you healthy
meals? Does she help with your homework?
Does she read you bedtime stories? Does she
hug you? Thank her for all she does!
Mothers Day is also a great time to visit or
to call your grandmothers. Theyre mothers,
too!
