Welcome
Miss Warren
I hope you will
join me in
welcoming Miss
Warren, our
Auburn
University
intern!
Miss Warren is
currently
working on her
Early Childhood

We are so happy
to have her! She
is a wonderful
help in our
classroom!

WOWfour day weeks FLY BY but we always manage to

squeeze in everything we need to do! Weve continued our
Jan Brett author study during shared reading (we have 1
more day with her next week to make up for missing
Monday)! I hope you were able to check out her website
with your kiddo!
During our theme time this week, we put a pause on the
piglets to concentrate on Martin Luther King, Jr. and the
100th Day of School! I hope you enjoyed hearing about both!
We are working on being an AWESOME friend to each person
we play/work with each day just like Dr. King dreamed!

AR Celebration
Last Friday during our Super Spark
time, we had our grade level AR
Celebration! Mrs. Snyder called out
all of the friends who met their AR
goal. GUESS WHAT!?!?!?! We were
the ONLY class who had 100%
completion on goals! Everyone was
ASTONISHED! I am so proud of our
kids!!! We even won a popsicle party!!!
Our class is helping inspire other
classes to get 100% participation!
I wanted to give a special shout out
to Vincent and Brian for meeting their
goal 3 or more times! They were
recognized for this special effort!
You will find your childs AR
certificate from Mrs. Bigham in their
Friday folder today!
Another big shout out to Mrs. Benson
and Mrs. Lawrence for being our AR
parent volunteers each Friday! They
help make our 100% participation
possible! Thanks so much ladies!

If you have not yet sent in your

emergency change of clothes,
please do so Monday! If your child
comes home in different clothes
that do not belong to them, please
wash and return them. My closet
of extras is almost empty, if you
could return them I would be most
appreciative! J
