The Mesolithic Age

1. Inventions that were created during this time period included fishing tools
such as harpoons and spears made out of flint.

How did this invention assist in completing work? How was work done
previously?

This invention assisted in completing work by making it easier to hunt aquatic


animals for food, such as fish. Before this invention, hunters mainly hunted land
animals because the technology wasnt available to easily hunt aquatic animals.

What social, cultural, political, and economic impacts did this have on
society?
Social impact- This invention impacted the people because it allowed
them to have a more diverse diet.
Cultural- This invention impacted human achievement because it
allowed humans to have the ability to hunt different types of animal
and keep a bigger food supply.
Political- This invention did not have a huge impact on policy and laws
because, at the time, there werent any policy or laws to be affected.
Economic- There was not much of an economic impact as well due to
the lack of an economy and there wasnt much trading during this
time period.
