GCSE Mathematics Revision Classes

Dear Parent/ Guardian
Revision Classes for GCSE Mathematics have now begun and will be taking
place at various times depending on the Tier of Entry and your childs
Target Grade. If pupils are unsure of their target grade they need to speak
to their Maths teacher to find out which revision session is most suitable.

These intensive revision sessions are designed to provide extra learning

opportunities for students to prepare themselves for their final
examinations in May/June as well as for their Mock Exams in December.
Note: Maths mock exams are on Monday 8th December 9.0010.45am (Non Calculator Paper) and Thursday 11th December
9.00-10.45am (Calculator Paper)
We recommend pupils purchase the Lonsdale Revision Guide from the
Maths Department (3.50) if they have not already done so. There is also
an accompanying Workbook + Answers (3.50) as well as using the
MyMaths website for home-studying.
I would also like to remind you that pupils must arrive properly equipped
for their Maths exams black pen, pencil, ruler, protractor , eraser,
calculator. Only compasses will be loaned out by the school.
