Formula for estimating Gold Bar WEIGHT
Measure Bar Length, Width and Height. Note: if bar LENGTH (L) and WIDTH (W)
dimensions are different, than follow example drawing below by first adding the two
Widths (W1 + W2) and then dividing this total by 2 to get exact WIDTH. Then use the
same formula to get the exact LENGTH total (L1 + L2 divided by 2 = correct LENGTH).

If dimensions of : 40.64 Length, 10.16 Height & 10.16 Width = 80.965 kilograms at 24 Karats, then
24 divided by 80.965 Kg = .2964243
So, multiply the actual Kg weight of the Gold Bar X .2964243
EXAMPLE
Your Gold Bar has exact dimensions as above sample but actual weight is only 78 Kg. Then,
78.0 Kg X .2964243 = 23.121095 Karats (This is the approx. Karat % of your Gold Bar).
