Mysteriously Missing

Written by Mrs Watsons 4G, 2016

Boo-hoo! Kihan ran out of the room sobbing.

Imogen shouted, Mrs Watson! Mrs Watson! Kihan just ran out of the
room!
In surprise, Mrs Watson dashed to the door and looked for Kihan. As she
was dashing to the door her blonde, golden hair was flying out of control
and her green dress was far behind her. While she was looking outside,
the bell rang for lunch. All the kids, who were wearing formal, grey
uniforms, were curious about what was happening. They stayed sitting at
their desks in surprise. Mrs Watson saw nothing but a note attached to
the brick wall by some blu-tac. She picked it up and read it.
Come here if its a rainy day, if not go away! Its not very far to play.
Rohan said, I think it could mean the library because I sometimes go
there on a rainy day.
Leila replied, But you can go there when its not raining.
And, its pretty far away, added Zac.
The undercover area! cried Nadia.
The class rushed to the undercover area. They started looking for Kihan,
but instead they found a little note behind a pole.
The note said, Go where you like to end the day, where your parents
have a chocolate latte.
All the students raced to the school coffee shop. They searched and
searched and found a note under one of the tables.
Books, books and more books! Youll find a key in one called Cook.
So all the kids burst next door to the library and started to look for the
book in the cooking section.
They found a book which had a key hanging on a bookmark. There was
also a note which said:
Dear Mrs Watson, I hope you like this gift.
As the children quickly thought where it could be and what the key could
be for, one of them suggested that it could be to open a door. They then
started stumbling through the room looking for a locked door, and
eventually they found one.

They got the key out slowly and pushed it into the lock. Then one of the
students turned the key. They pushed the door slightly and the door
creaked open. They crossed their fingers and peeked inside.
As the students pushed open the door, one of them saw a shiny, red and
green ribbon on top of a very large box. When Mrs Watson walked into
the room, she stepped on a hidden button and something incredible
happened.
Lots of streamers and balloons flew out from everywhere! Suddenly,
Kihan jumped out of the box, wearing a Santa outfit and holding a
Christmas cake! Mrs Watson jumped in fright.
Kihan yelled, Surprise! Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas!
Mrs Andersen, the librarian, stomped into the room with a furious look
on her face and steam blowing out of her ears. She said, What in the
world is all this racket!? This is much too loud for a library!
All the kids giggled quietly to themselves and ran away.
As they were leaving, Hayden whispered to Kihan, Youre going to share
that cake, right?
