A colour: Midnight Blue
The colour Blue is the perfect representation of this song. The
sadness comes from the lyrics and the melodic tune in the
background suggesting a sad story. This allows the audience to
reminisce on any bad situation they have experienced therefore
making the song relatable.
An emotion (angry, sad, happy, scary): Melancholy
The emotion of this song in my opinion is quite up and down but
stays predominantly down. This is mainly due to the lyrics creating
images of his sad and dark past but celebrated the fact that he has
made it as an artist.
A temperature (hot, warm, cool and cold): Chilly
The temperature of the song is what we call chilly this follows the
lyrics being expressive and profound but its intentions are to
celebrate the artist success therefore increasing the temperature
of the song.
A flavour (bland, spicy, sharp, sour): Buttery
The flavour suggests an understandable way of telling a story, easy
to understand therefore eliminating the limitation of the audience.
A touch (rough, smooth, spikey): Coarse
This touch is aimed at the lyrics used in the song. Coarse, this word
suggests that the lyrics are very intellectual and meaningful but the
beat of the music allows the meaning of the song to be dampened.
A motion (swaying, jagged, bumpy): Drifting
This motion shows how the song is easily followed and can easily
drift into your own thoughts. This simply means that you will
interpret the song in your own way hence drifting, drifting in your
thoughts.
At 0:44 seconds into the song, the song becomes more energetic
but doesnt necessarily change colour more change of shade. The
song looses its sadness and becomes slightly less sombre. The lyrics
are still sad in terms of their meaning but the way he performs them
he is trying to find the best in a bad situation and celebrating that.
A PowerPoint where you can change the images at the significant
changes in mood at the time that they happen in the songs. (You will
need to note the times of these changes down for this to work).
