Job Title : General Manager
Location : Zone 2, Block 6, Media City, Dubai
Salary : AED 25,500/ per month
Media Connect Advertising currently requires a General Manager with minimum 5
years of work experience in the same position. The position requires necessary
qualification in Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. Preference will be
given to those with exceptional computer and managerial skills. He should be
well versed with strategic decision making and coordinating the various activities
of all the departments (Finance, Search Engine Marketing, Creative Content,
Client Servicing, Human Resource, Web and Design).
Perks and Requisites of joining MeCon range from health insurance, education,

reputed restaurants and gym membership. However, the company doesnt
provide for maternity or sick leave, maternity leave and gives only a standard

Job Description
General Manager is an integral part of the Top Level Management. He forms a
link between the Executives and the functional heads. He is solely responsible for
the well-oiled coordination between all the departments (Finance, Search Engine
Marketing, Creative Content, Client Servicing, Human Resource, Web and
Design). Leadership skills, team work and determination form an essential part of
the job necessities.
Report Structure
1) Reports directly to the Vice - President
2) Has the functional heads of Finance, Search Engine Marketing, Creative
Content, Client Servicing, Human Resource, Web and Design under him.
Employee Requirements
1) Necessary qualifications in Bachelor of Arts in Business Management.
2) MBA would be a desirable educational qualification.
3) Minimum experience of 5 years in the same post.
