Position Summary
The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall
digital marketing strategy for Veravas. This position will provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong
company web presence and will drive all digital marketing efforts to achieve our business objectives.
Responsibilities List
Build Veravas’ digital marketing roadmap and oversee all strategic online initiatives.
Lead digital marketing campaigns from the idea stage through to their execution and implementation.
Develop, manage, and maintain all digital marketing channels (e.g., website, blogs, emails and social media) to
ensure brand consistency.
Develop and administer marketing database which includes customer and prospect information, email
marketing campaigns, customer data base listings.
Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare budget.
Develop campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction.
Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics.
Forecast sales performance trends and act proactively to increase our market segment.
Liaise with Product, Design and Sales directors to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies.
Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out.
Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies or relevant field required. MBA preferred.
Experience ☐ N/A
Proven work experience in Digital Marketing growing a consumer-based online business required.
Strong experience within the medical industry a plus or In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) industry a plus.
Strong experience with medical marketing and knowledge of laboratory medicine a plus.
Knowledge and Skills ☐ N/A
Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function.
Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices.
Proficiency using Microsoft Suite and various marketing software and CRM.
Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software.
Familiarity with web design.
Excellent analytical and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with the ability to quickly prioritize and effectively
delegate tasks.
Ability to work additional hours outside the normal workday (i.e., evenings and weekends) to be able to meet
deadlines.
Ability to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects with
overlapping timelines.
