Objectives

Founded in February of 2016, this is an activist website created by a student in Renaissance College in
order to re-address and emphasise for equal human rights for domestic helpers in Hong Kong by educating
students, parents and other members of the public, and encouraging the fair-minded supporters to take
action.
This websites aims are to:
a. To educate the citizens or to advance their knowledge about the current social status of domestic
helpers.
b. To address the reasons for the domestic helpers insufficient human rights and the level of severity of the
discrimination against domestic helpers as opposed to the governments failing attempts to protect their
human rights.
c. Ultimately to make change in the society, by increasing the publics awareness on possible solutions and
action items that they can conduct, and to push for stronger laws that ensure the domestic helpers equal
human rights and benefits in their workplace.
