To whom it may concern,
My name is Andrea Kurtz and Im interested in the Paraprofessional position you have available
at the Bowling Green Middle School. I am currently in my last semester of working towards my
Associate of Applied Science Paraprofessional Education degree from Northwest State
Community College. I will graduate May 5th, 2016. I have done field placements in Liberty
Center working with a student in 4th grade with an IEP and observing the classroom. I have also
worked in the Bowling Green Middle School with 8th graders and have sat in on meetings for
how to further help the students with IEPs. My availability is open and I have no restrictions to
days and hours. My goal in pursuing this position would be to help guide and nurture the student
through his or her education and allow the student to get the best available education they
possibly can.
I look forward to hearing from the district and have attached my resume and hope to hear soon
about setting up a meeting and interview.
Thank you,
Andrea Kurtz
