Summary
Currently, I am a college student attending Pasadena City College, working on completing my
General education before my transfer to a 4 year university. The focus of my studies center
around English and Psychology. With the different major prep requirements for my fields of
interest, I have developed a keen eye for editing and writing as well as research for papers
centered on the specific topic of focus. My initial work experience in the food service industry
has provided an opportunity to polish my arithmetic and customer service skills , specifically on
the notion of "the customer comes first."
Objectives
The specific skill I hope to develop centers around the interaction with consumers and coworkers. I also wish to obtain more work experience in order to reach a better understanding of
the work environment and gain real world knowledge. My goal is to find a position that will
eventually allow me to pursue a career in my chosen fields of interest, either centering around
teaching English at a university level or becoming a practicing psychologist.
