Education
Arizona State University
August 2016-Present
Utilizing ASUs online program, I was able to learn how to effectively manage my time and present myself as a self-starter. I was
required to adhere to strict deadlines and because of this, Ive been effective in keeping and balancing a tight schedule.
As an English Education major, I was enrolled in classes that not only aided my development as a potential teacher, but they
enlightened students to the inner workings of the adolescent mind. My emphasis in Creative Writing evolved my abilities as a writer
and broadened my mind to styles and techniques possessed by other authors.
At Las Positas College, I was an active member of the theatre department, serving as a founding member of a student-run
improvisational comedy troupe and participating in the fall 2013 production of Fahrenheit 451. The classes I attended were used as
stepping-stones to obtain my position at a four-year university, ranging from general education classes to courses better suited to apply
toward the degree I wished to obtain.
