Ocelots are twice the size of

the average house cats,
they're very sleek and
gorgeous animals. They are
mammals and carnivores.
They have sharp back that
can tear food like
scissors.They can't chew so
they basically swallow their
hole food.

Importance of
Species
The importance of this
species is that they are
going extinct because
of the hunters killing
them for there fine fur.
They are protected in
the United States and
other countries.
Why we need ocelots!!

Location of ocelot
Many of them live under
leafy canopies of Southern
American rain forests but
they are also found far
north of Texas.

If the ocelots went extinct

in the next 5 years the
things they eat will go
over populated. The
predators of the ocelors
will become endangered
because they wouldn't
have much to eat.

What's you can do to help is that you can adopt an
ocelot, you can tell people they are going extinct so
they themselves know whats going on and can help
the ocelot to.

Reason for endangerment

Reasons for the
endangerment of the
ocelots is that hunters are
killing them for the
beautiful fur. Ocelots didn't
have good habitat because
they would use there habitat
as farming land.
