Transcript Reflection
Throughout my four years of High School my transcripts have been very up and down.
You can see that my freshman and sophomore year I really didnt try my best. I feel that
attendance had a lot to do with it, but I shouldn't of let that get in the way. Here is a little bit more
on what my transcripts look like.

Freshman year my total GPA for the first semester was a 2.83. I am not saying that I am
ashamed but I am not proud of this. As I look back on my transcripts I see that I had a D in math
and a C in English. Maybe if I would have gotten extra help in those areas my GPA could have
been higher, for both semesters. My GPA came out to be a 2.53 for the end of freshman year.

Sophomore year wasn't any better, there were only two As on my whole transcript and
those were from AG classes. My total GPA for both semesters was around a 2.4. I blame myself
for having these bad grades because I was staying home sick and was absent a lot during
sophomore year. I was going through some troubles with friends and school just wasn't for me.
The only thing that kept me going was my drive that I wanted to show an animal for Merced
Fair. After a while I realized I needed to change and start working harder so that I would have
some chance of getting into college.

Junior year I stepped it up, I still had a D in AP English but I was trying my hardest and I
knew that I would be switching to regular English at the end of the semester. I kept my grade up

so I didn't fall to a F but I barely scraped by. I ended up with a 3.43 for the first semester. It felt
very rewarding to me that I could accomplish good grades. So I continued to study and work
hard and I eventually ended up with a 3.43 again for the second semester. My next goal was to
try and get Straight A's for senior year.

This year I have been working much harder and it has truly been rewarding. For First
semester I ended up with a 4.0 GPA and straight As. I am so proud of myself I knew that I could
accomplish good grades I just had to work hard and not have the lazy mind-set. I am going to
keep working hard to keep my As for second semester.
