A Reflection of Success

Over the last four years, I have managed to maintain a good transcript and attendance record. My

overall grade point average (weighted) consists of a 3.12. My four year transcript clearly represents a

capability of working hard in both academics and extracurricular activities. I am proud of every grade I

received on my transcript because it demonstrates the potential I have in succeeding. I was able to pass

every class I was enrolled in. However there is more to it. I was doing bad for a short time. I found the

right mindset and started to retake classes with a c or lower in order for me to go to s University.

Although my semester grades began to include more Cs over the years, I am very proud of the effort I

put in to do well in the courses I could not easily understand. If I had the opportunity to retake any of

my previous courses, I would retake Spanish. Due to the fact that I would be able to focus more on

things I did not comprehend well, I feel that I would receive a higher grade the second time around. I

would also have the opportunity to retake the Serve Safe exam, giving me another advantage to earn a

higher score. Attendance is one of the most important factors to succeed in any career. If someone

looked at my attendance reflection within the past year, they would not be effective in presuming that I

am a student who takes my studies seriously. However there are many reasons behind this. For example

my allergies have caused me to miss many days. Also this year has been rough, I had to attend two

funerals. I wont say that my attendance reflects my grades because I have managed to do great in

school.
