LANDFORMS

Mountains- higher than a hill

Lakes- a body of (usually fresh) water surrounded by land

River- A large natural stream of water emptying into an ocean, lake,


or other body of water

Deserts- In physical geography, a form of landscape that receives


little water.

Volcano- a mountain formed by volcanic material.

Valley- lowland between ranges of mountains. With a river or


stream running through

Ocean- A large body of water
