Majority vs minority
Have any person heard of the author John Stuart Mill, he wrote On
liberty Talking about the tyranny of the majority. Well, he is wrong, and I will tell you
why. Throughout this paper I will convince you that he is wrong. John Stuart Mill should
be known for being a great author but also a wrong author.
Of course, the main reason why he is wrong is because If we didnt have
majority rule than there would be a lot more fights, whether it be which neighbor is
having the party, to huge civil wars in countries, even to World Wars. If there are wars
that are happening all over the world than someone needs to take control, when that
happens majority rule comes into play, and most of the problems that everyone had is
slowly going down until they come to agreement. This is why majority rule is a great
thing to have to keep the peace. This is why John Stuart Mill is a wrong author.Tat is
why John is wrong
In addition to that, another reason why he is wrong is because we need a
leader if we dont have majority rule we get no dictatorship, you are probably thinking
well, dictatorship is wrong and bad, but its not. The only reason why you think that is
because when you hear dictatorship, you automatically think of Hitler, or North Korea.
What about people like Emir Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum of Dubai his legacy will live
on forever in Dubai, as he started with little colonies spread all over and ended up as a
huge deal in the world. Thats why John Stuart Mill is wrong about the majority and
minority.
Next, you need majority to rise so no one in the minority can take over, the
minority could have psychopaths and killers, or even terrorists. If we let them take rise
we will never see the light of day again, meaning that they will through us into prisons
and torture us until we follow them and become the minority. They could even turn the
world on each other and have the world be a nuclear wasteland. Many people want to
see that happen so we can not let them come into the leadership. Hitler is a great
example of that he wanted world destruction so he could come out of the ashes and rule
the whole world.
In the contrary, you may think that the majority is bad because it opposes
the minority. Well, thats true but what would happen if the minority became the majority.
The same thing would happen. Majority would oppose the minority. So I think that the
minority is just jealous that they are not leading the country and someone they oppose
is, we need to leave it the way it is, and that is why John Mill is wrong.
In the long run, it is better to keep the majority and minority the same
because if we have a huge change it will leave us vulnerable and for more bad people
to take over, That is why John Stuart Mill is wrong about his views on the minority and
majority.
