CLINICAL EXAMINATION
The anamnesis will reveal the early occurrence of post-surgery postural troubles.
Preferentially, pathogenic scars are located the deltoidal, dorsal and mid-sternal
areas. There are four aspects:
Generally, pathogenic scars are hyper-sensitive when palpated. But they can also be
hypo-sensitive too.
Pathological scars often come along with intervertebral disturbance and reflex
dermatalgia on the corresponding metameric area. When lightly touched, they feature
the radial pulse collapse.
MAGNET TEST
P1 acupuncture point located in superior lateral chest area, second intercostal space,
in the deltopectoral groove. The practitioner uses a 1500 gauss magnet, north face
directly taped on P1 (red face on Statipro magnets and pointed face on Eporec
magnets). This action regularizes postural troubles in relation with pathogenic scars.
The practitioner can observe a pelvis girdle tilt due to deep massage of the scar. In
this case, the magnet is to be taped on the side of maximal side-bending.
Moreover, it can also be directly taped on the scar.
OTHER TESTS
The practitioner can temporarily eliminate postural troubles due to pathogenic scar
tissue by:
Rubbing an ice-cube onto the scar itself for two minutes;
Longitudinally applying two acupuncture needles on the sides of the scar;
Simply taping it.
These tests are described in the corresponding parts of the posturology module.
1. Magnet test
2. Scar tissue search test
3. Reactogenic scar tissue search
4. Romberg test
