Editors Journal

Throughout the process of being an editor I had learned a wide variety of techniques from the software
final cut pro, Ive also learned that there are many difficulties and responsibility that come with the
role of being editor. One being that it is my job sort the clips out and put it to together to make sure
there isnt a continuity error.

Logged and captured footage from Saturday filming
Sorted current footage in chronological order
Problems occurred:
Apart from it being time consuming, the quality of looked 360p which was confusing due to the fact
we recorded on 720p
Resolved the problem:
We exported it large rather than medium and this seemed to fix to resolution and the quality.

Problems occurred:
Some shots contained the production team therefore rending it useless.
The lighting did not fit compared to footage taken later that day.
Resolved the problem:
I cut out and only used the footage that they were not in, so due to the cinematographer taking
multiple shot I was able to do this.
Suggested to use filters to make it more horror like also to disguise the fact it was too light.
