Introduction
On September 2011, Trello software was created by Joel Spolsky who also created
Fog Creek Software. Trello is a free project management tool that allows users to
organize project in the form of boards individually or with collaborators.
Trello uses a Japanese Kanban principle which was introduced by Toyota in 1980s.
(Kseniya Agosti, 2014) It is a kind of method that using boards and cards to help
people to accomplish their tasks by listing detailed goals.
As the number of Trello users increase rapidly, Trello become an essential
application in organization collaboration. Now it already has over ten million users.
(Trello, 2015)
The purpose of this report is to introduce and analyze about the Trello from different
aspects. For instance, the way that Trello support the business, the benefits and
drawbacks of using Trello and the way to use the Trello.

Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes projects into a board. Trello becomes an
essential tool for the teams and it is an application that helps the groups to focus on
the stuffs that they are planning. Trello also can help to form into groups to do
discussion and letting everybody in the group to know whats going on in the projects
that they are doing. A Trello board can have a variety of uses and mean different
things.

Detailed analysis on how Trello supports in business.

With Trello, you can connect your teams google apps accounts on the member page
and you are also able to see who owns an account. However, if he/she does not own
one, or they are not on the team yet, you would be able to add them with a single
click. As there is no members limit, you would never need to worry about paying for
each new member.
Trello gives administrators to have more controls over the team. There are a few
features that are included.
1. When choosing emails, choose those emails that can be invited to the team.
Example, if you want Trello users with a Hotmail.com email address to join
your team, you can configure that on your Team settings page.

2. If you want to restrict the board visibility, you can prohibit the creation of public
or private the boards on your teams.

3. If you are the team admin, you are able to see and edit all the team board.
Even you are not on the board, you are also able to see all the private boards
in your teams.
With just one click, Trello can help you to bundle all your team data together. You
can choose to include the attachments or you can just link to them. The data will
be in JSON format together with the attachments in their native format.
When there are observers, they can vote and comment but they cannot edit,
move or create cards. Having addition of observers lets you share private team
boards without sacrificing controls. It is good for freelancers or contractors that
dont need full control of the board.
With the new members page, you will get more insight into member activity. You
are able to see when a member was last activated in the team and which boards
are they on. You are also able to see what team cards they are assigned to.
You also have the ability to dismiss the member inside the team. This means that
they will lose access to boards in the team. But other members will still see the
members in a faded state on their boards and cards. This is useful for dealing up
tasks after a member leaves then team.
