Aim To study job satisfaction in "Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust,


uran".

Objective To know the satisfaction level of employees towards their


job and company
To find out the different factors that will lead to job
satisfaction.
To know whether employees are satisfied with the company
policy.
To find that their role and responsibilities are clear in their
organization.

Hypothesis -

Null Hypothesis (H0)


Job satisfaction level of employee helps a
company to know the satisfaction level of
employees in their company which is a very
important part in the overall organization.
Alternative Hypothesis (H1)
Employees level of satisfaction is relatively
low with job profile assign to them.

INTRODUCTION

Job satisfaction is in regard to one's feelings or


state-of-mind regarding the nature of their
work
What is job satisfaction?
Job satisfaction can be influenced by a variety
of factors, e.g., (the quality of one's
relationship with their supervisor, the quality
of the physical environment in which they
work, degree of fulfilment in their work, etc.)

Sources of job satisfaction

Several job elements contribute to job


satisfaction. The most important among these
are wage structure, nature of work, promotion
chances, quality of supervision, work group
and working conditions.

in India, handling around 44% of the countrys
containerized cargo, crossing the historic

RECOMMENDATION

The company should ask employees about


their expectations from JNPT and must take
steps to fulfil it it will also satisfy the job
Company must also involve its employee in its
achievements which will implant feeling of
recognition and their importance to
organization of job.

CONCLUSION

The research work undertaken is on job


satisfaction level of employee which helps a
company to know the satisfaction level of
employees in their company.
Analysis shows that employees were satisfied
with their present position.
We can say that company is focusing on all
the criterias which are require for the
satisfaction of the employees.
