New requirement for pre-med students

Beginning next year, all juniors pursuing pre-med studies must complete a twomonth internship city hospital. The purpose of this internship will be able to enable
students to device whether they would like to attend medical school upon
graduating. All pre-med students who apply to do the internship will be approved
by the city hospital provided that they are in good academic standing with the
school. The internship will be done during summer vacation to avoid interfering
with the students regular schoolwork. For more information, contact Ms. Cindy

Reactance
There are times when one person may place a restriction on the behavior of another individual.
When a rule limiting one persons behavior or actions is implemented. Affected person often
feels that is or her freedom has been lessened. The person is then more likely to engage in the
behavior or action that has been restricted. This behavior is knon as reactance. It is a result of an
affected individualdemonstrating that he or she is still possesses the free will and abilty to meka
decision of his or her own.

2.3 changes to be made in tomorrows election
All students should be aware that there are two changes in tomorrows student council
elections. First of all, there will be no voting in the student library as the librarian have claimed
that voting there would be noisy. As a result, voting will only be permited in the student center
and at the student cafeteria. Voting there will end at 8.pm rather than at 9.pm. since the
cafeteria regularly closed at eight. Those student wishing to vote between eight and nine must
do so at the student center.
