Disney has changed the world by invisioning childs
imaginations and dreams through their heart warming and
moving animated adventures.
---PARAGRAPH BREAK (PAUSE)--These beautiful and sometimes even inspiring films Disney
create change so much from their origins that they could even
be regarded as a lie. Using set theories we used them to our
advantage in creating the documentary The Dark Secrets of
Disney.
---PARAGRAPH BREAK (PAUSE)--Sleeping Beauty
In Giambassista Basiles original tale of the story, The Sleeping
Beauty tells a rather different story to the original where a king
happens to walk by her castle, he climbs up a ladder through a
window. He finds the princess, and calls to her but she is a
sleep. He carries her to the bed and rapes her then leaves as if
nothing happens. She awakens after she gives birth to twins.
The King then comes back, and despite the past insidents, they
end up falling in love?
At this point, the King is still married to someone else. The then
finds out and tries to have the twins killed and cooked but does
not succeed. The king and the princess get married and live
happily ever after, despite the fact he raped her.
---PARAGRAPH BREAK (PAUSE)--Cinderella
Often regarded as Disneys most popular and famous fairytale.
This story of rags to riches has inspired many generations and
in some cases has helped change their lives. But in all honesty,
the story was far darker than Walt Disneys studio made out.
With the enslavement of Cinderella by her evil stepmother and
two ugly stepsisters was not far from torture. It didnt help poor
Cinderella that her fairy godmother never actually appeared
leaving the young girl to escape solely with the help of a flock
of small birds. The Disney story tells how every girl in the
kingdom tries desperately to fit the slipper on their own foot, in

fact to such an extent that both of Cinderellas step-sisters cut

their own feet to fit, one cutting off her toes, and the other
taking a slice out of her heel. However the story does end
happily ever after.
