Narrative Report

February 29, 2016

I arrived at my cooperating school early this day. I then proceed at our classroom and help in
cleaning the room. I ask my students to help and they responded. After cleaning the bell rang. Sign that its
time for everyone to go outside and attend the flag raising ceremony. After the ceremony, everybody then
proceed to their respective classes for the respective class. I have observed the class in ESP whereby I really
noticed how good Maam Dimaano, my cooperating teacher teach. She really master and know what she is
doing and what are the important things needed to give emphasis. Integration of values are very much
highlighted and observed.
Afterwards, my cooperating teacher gave me a task- to help students who have difficulty in reading
and I did. I asked some students to sit beside me and read. Every time the students pronounce and read
words incorrectly, I immediately responded and tell to them the right pronunciation of that words. If they
dont still get it, I tried to explain or said to them that particular thing in simplest way. After lunch, I have
continue the task assigned to me. I felt happy for my students are very much eager to the point that they
volunteered themselves to read. Every time they finished reading, I give comments and suggestions on how
they will improve their skills in reading. I also suggested to them to seek for their parents help or even their
brothers or sisters. Before this day ends, I saw that my students given a beginning- beginning to enh ance
more their reading skills.
