Morning Greeting
For my classes morning greeting we will say good morning to the person on either
side of us. Each person will say good morning to the person on their left then their
right. Then the last person’s name they said will say good morning to the last
person then the person on their right till everyone in the class has been greeted.
Benefits and Management

How does the teacher introduce the greeting?

Once the class gets used to doing this every morning, the teacher will only need to
say the student to the left and right of them, then the activity will start.
How does the greeting help children learn names and practice hospitality?
Students will not have assigned seats during morning meetings so they will be able
to say names out loud, and greet their peers in a friendly respectful way.
How does the greeting set a positive tone and provide a sense of recognition?
Each student will be acknowledged by name in front of the whole class.
Morning Sharing
I will have a schedule set up for each week with different students assigned days of
the week. After I call on that student they can share whatever they would like to
share. Then students that have any questions or comments can raise their hand I
will call on them, then they can share their question or comment.
