Kimberly Jovanovski:

A Social Work Portfolio

Introduction
The social work portfolio fulfills a major requirement for the B.S.W. degree at Wayne
State University School of Social Work. I believe that this portfolio concisely and accurately
shows the extent of my growth of my professional career in generalist practice during my time in
the B.S.W. program. It also shows my readiness to attend the M.S.W. program this spring of
2016.
The portfolio is organized into sections which are detailed in the Table of Contents and
can be found by clicking the menu button at the top left of the webpage. My professional resume
is included, along with a personal statement which details what skills I have learned during my
time in the B.S.W. program and my readiness and capability to enter the M.S.W. program this
spring. Also included are three papers that I have deemed my best learning products while in the
B.S.W. program, and short reflections about those three products and what they helped me learn.
In the summary section is a summary of the portfolio, an evaluation from my internship, three
letters of reference, and a copy of my unofficial college transcript.
This portfolio took a lot of time and effort to put together, and contains a lot of
information from my time in the B.S.W. program, but I feel it shows just how much time and
effort I have put into my career and education during my time at the Wayne State School of
Social Work. I also feel that it has shown me how much I have grown personally and
professionally during my time in the B.S.W. program.
