I am writing to recommend Kimberly Jovanovski for admission to the MSW
program at Wayne State University School of Social Work. Ms. Jovanovski
was in 2 of my classes during her first year in the BSW program. These
included SW 3710, and SW3410.

Ms. Jovanovski was an outstanding student and her capacity for critical
thinking and analysis was evident early in the semester. She was an active
participant in all class discussions, particularly in SW3410, quickly relating
the text, class discussions and her personal experiences (especially in her
job) to our Code of Ethics. Ms. Jovanovski often took the lead on sensitive
topics in class. She was quickly able to integrate the wide range of student
diversity in the class and its potential impact on professional practice. She
was able to receive and offer feedback that I am sure will mature to serve
her well as a skill in her career.

I highly recommend Ms. Jovanovski for admission to the MSW program. She
is a motivated and committed student who will be an excellent professional
social worker and an asset to our profession.
