T.A.

Who is Travis?
I am a positive, energetic, detail oriented and caring young adult who recently began my college career at LDS Business
College studying Social Media Marketing. I have recently returned from taking two gap years volunteering following
graduation from high school. This experience away from home challenged me and provided me with life skills and a new
appreciation for hard work. I have a knack for making people feel comfortable and welcome. I am loyal, ethical and a
quick learner.

Experience
Panara Bread Company, Longmont, Colorado

September 2015- December 2015

Customer Service
I worked at the Panara Bread Company for the few short months between my return home from missionary service to
heading to Utah for college. I took on various responsibilities including soup and sandwich making, dishes, and lobby
cleaning. At Panara, the focus is on making people feel welcome. I found my niche in connecting with the customers and
looking for small ways to make their day just a little better.

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

July 3, 2013-June 30, 2015

Missionary
I volunteered for two years, in Long Beach California. My colleague and I were chosen representatives for the LDS
Church in a specific area. Every day I taught and interacted with many different people. I learned the importance of good
eye contact, body language, and how to listen to others. I learned how to work with others and overcome conflict. As well,
every night my colleague and I created an hourly schedule and set numerical goals for the following day. During this time,
we would also evaluate our performance from the previous day and discuss how we could improve. This process taught
me how to set goals, work with others, and be accountable for how I used my time.
Regal Entertainment

December 3. 2012- May 18, 2013

Door Attendant / Greeter

Part-time work at local movie theater in Longmont, Colorado during high school.
I greeted customers, made them feel welcome, tore tickets and assisted them to locate the correct theater. I also was
responsible for helping to create a safe environment with hourly walkthroughs of theaters and being aware of potential
issues. Specific cleaning jobs and responsibilities were also part of my daily assignments.
