Student Assistant
Spring 2016-Present
As a student assistant at the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Center at California State
University Monterey Bay, I was responsible for maintaining large budgets for millions of dollars
in grant funds, approving payroll for over 100 employees, requisitioning monthly credit card
payments, planning travel for student researchers to attend conferences, and was the first
interact with students and faculty who entered the office.
Private Nanny
Fall 2012-Summer 2015
As a private nanny I was responsible for picking up two boys in elementary school and middle
school 5 days a week and caring for them until their mother came home from work. I helped
them with homework, prepared meals for them and drove them to their after school activities.
It was my first consistent job and it helped me balance both my school responsibilities and a
full work load.
Summer Internship
Summer 2014
Through the Folsom Lake College work experience program I was given the opportunity to
intern at the KLD Law Group in Downtown Sacramento. My responsibilities included preparing
binders and spreadsheets that would aid the lawyers in an ongoing case. Through this
internship I gained a strong work ethic, the responsibility to perform important tasks, and the
ability to work effectively with others.
Private Nanny
Summer 2013
As a private nanny responsible for two toddlers from 7:30 a.m. till their mother was off of work
at 5:00 pm. Since they were at such a young age, they needed constant attention. Some of my
responsibilities included feeding them, changing diapers, potty training and putting them down
for naps in the afternoon.
