application for the Social Studies teacher position at your High School. I know that my teaching abilities
and skills would greatly benefit your school and students. With my extensive work experience and
education in applying appropriate teaching and assessment methodologies and contributing to the
design and development of objectives and teaching materials, I am prepared to become an immediate

Through my experiences at Aurora University, I have been in many different classrooms and many
different environments. The classrooms I have taught in have been diverse in both student population
and teaching requirements and I have met every student’s needs in those classrooms. I currently
volunteer my time and services as a youth coach in my local community. Working with and teaching
children is my passion and calling, helping them become the best individual they can be.
The following are highlights of my skills and accomplishments.
I currently work and own a remodeling company. Which I have overseen many complex projects
and managed many employees to accomplish the goal.
Possess an ability to communicate complex information in a way which students can
comprehend.
Prior experience adopting distinctive teaching methodologies, documenting all lessons,
organizing healthy group discussion, promoting a safe and fun learning environment.
Previously worked with children ages 3-11 at a child’s behavioral hospital. Duties included
monitoring patients, running group therapy sessions, and mentoring the under privileged
children of the community.
My strong initiative, work ethic, and exceptional organizational skills combined with my ability
to work well under pressure, allows me to play a crucial role in a fast-paced teaching
environment. Furthermore, with the ability to simplify lesson plans in line with specific
curriculum objectives. I believe I will immediately make a noticeable impact on your school’s
educational standards.
