It is my immense pleasure to recommend one of my best volunteers, Dhivya Manohar, into your
undergraduate program for the coming academic year. As the Director of Production of TEDxKids@BC it
has been a pleasure working with her. Dhivyas diligence, reliability, and her strong leadership
outweighed any other volunteer on the Production Team and all the other leaders on the Organizing
Committee were very impressed by Dhivyas commitment level.
Dhivya was responsible for the coordination and production of the visual support for TEDxKids@BC
2013. On the day of the event, she was overviewing the final changes and supervising the visual support
for the entire show. This year, she has stepped into a bigger role for TEDxKids@BC2014 as she was
promoted to being in charge of the entire Speakers Team. Dhivya is now responsible for the full process
of recruiting and selecting the speakers for TEDxKids@BC2014, while fulfilling her previous role.
Dhivya has excellent communication skills; she is extremely organized, reliable and computer literate.
Dhivya has shown strong leadership throughout the event by working independently and being able to
follow through to ensure that the job gets done, even with tight deadlines. She is flexible, enthusiastic,
and willing to work on any project that is assigned to her.
