Operation Department Conducted Lematang River Sand Dredging Project

In order to fully ensure the supply of water to power plant, we have

been conducting the sand dredging project of Lematang River especially the
location near our pump boat. The reason of this project is because during dry
season the level of Lematang River decreased to 1.1 m near the inlet pipe of
water intake pump. If we dont take measure immediately the supply of
water to power plant will be disturbed.
This project categorized as medium risk of job. The potential risks that
can happen are drowning, floating off, bitten by animal, irritation of eye and
skin because the bad quality of Lematang river. This project directly hired the
three experienced divers who have the experiences handle this kind of
project before. In order to ensure their safety and health, we obligated them
to wear safety protection equipment such as goggles, respiratory mask, life
vest, life jacket, helm, and safety belt.
This project needs around 1 week for completion. Stability of operation
is our main target, so keep the water supply stable is our main responsibility.
