We are pleased to inform you that the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost)
and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), both agencies
of the Government, have entered into a Tie-up Agreement authorizing
PHLPost as its Accredited Premium Collecting Agent. Accreditation was
approved and granted to PHLPost starting January 3, 2014.
The tie-up is part of PhilHealths outsourcing premium collection program
utilizing PHLPosts vast network outlets, including Postal Stations, regular &
extension Post Offices, Mall Postal Counters, Barangay & School Based Post
Offices that are visible not just in metropolitan areas but also in the most
distant and remote areas of the country.
In support to this agreement, PHILHEALTH has encouraged its members and
employers to pay over-the-counter at any PHLPost outlets nationwide,
including payment of health insurance premiums of Overseas Filipino
Workers (OFWs).
Should PHLPost be considered as your collecting agent for your PHILHEALTH
remittance, rest assured of our capability to provide you with FREE-Pick-up
Service on your monthly premium remittance. This does not only give
convenience to your Institution, but more importantly relieves you from the
rising cost of Office Operation. PHLPost will continue to prove its worth given
this accreditation.
