Need to invite faculty
Members can invite anyone (family, friends, etc.)
Maggie and Lauryn making the invite

More than one session possibly

Jordan heading the program
Mentor uses past experience to help underclassmen
Notify the rest of the faculty so they can help fill in their advisees
that the
program exists

Aaron drafted a constitution
Found an already existing one
Revisions still need to be made
Aaron is going to finish combining both
Will vote on it at the next meeting
Submission to OSAS
Will set up attendance policy for sure
Will e-mail out ahead of time for people to read over before the
meeting and
send out feedback
Will provide alternative measures for missing meetings if needed

Handout created for advertising
Maggie and Dr. Han have compiled a handout for what
Communication
Studies has to offer (different teams, programs etc.)
Wednesday, November 4th - 11-1
Sandwiches will be provided
We will serve as liaisons
Anyone who can make it during that time, should be there

Make announcements during classes that were enrolled in

Will have a sign-up sheet to determine availability
Dont forget, it is a social event

Program is titled remind
Will utilize computer-generated number
Text 81010 @lphur in order to opt in to the service
Will help to send reminders for meetings and events
Questions and concerns can be directed to the officers
6:26 Ambassador program
Serves to recruit qualified people to Communication Studies
Colby has been going to events, was asked by Dr. Steffensmeier
Has kind of taken everyone by surprise for this semester
Can help to recruit people for the major
Can go out to talk with donors
Explain the value of communication studies to interested parties
Ideally would go from just thrown together to a more structured
program
run by LPH
Anyone with ideas for this program should bring them to Joe or to
a meeting
Develop an on-call list so when there are last minute things we
have a list of
people who are available
