and gives out over 45 million
dollars in education awards. to
students how need financial help.

Perry Bellegarde was named AFN
National Chief on December 10, 2014.
He has spent his entire adult life
putting into practice his strong beliefs
in the laws and traditions instilled in
him by the many Chiefs and Elders he
has known over the years. Passionate
about making measurable progress on
the issues that matter most to First
Nations people.

In November 2004, she was appointed President & CEO of


Indspire, Canadas premiere Indigenous-led charity, and
Executive Producer of the Indspire Awards, a nationally
broadcast gala honoring Indigenous achievement.

Roberta also led the development of the K-12 Indspire Institute,


a virtual resource center focused on increasing high school
completion rates

National Chief Bellegarde is from the Little Black Bear First


Nation, Treaty 4 Territory.
He served as Chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian
Nations and Saskatchewan Regional Chief for the Assembly of
First Nations.
