Annie Xiong was enrolled in the ROP Marketing I program from 2014-2015 school year at
Merced High School. She is currently a enrolled in my Virtual Enterprise class and is our
Human Resource Manager for the company. Annie is also a DECA member which is a
CTSO on the high school campus that I am an advisor for.
I have enjoyed getting to know Annie in my Marketing Foundations Community Classroom
class as well as in my Virtual Enterprise class. Annie is a friendly, cooperative and
respectful young lady who is concerned about her school work and future.
Annie is not afraid to speak for herself and is willing to contribute productive ideas in
class discussions. She is a studious young lady who gets right to work on assignments,
stays focused and is willing to help others when needed. I am confident that Annies
commitment to self-improvement and lifelong learning will allow her to meet her lifes
goals such as her such term goal of continuing her education at CSU, Fresno or CSU,
Stanislaus.
In the last school year, Annie had received on-the-job training at Wet Seal for ROP. She
was trained as a Sales Associate and was willing to meet their dress code and perform
every task assigned to her. Some of her responsibilities included: properly greet
customers in a cheerful manner, visual displays, assist customers, stock merchandise,
and any housekeeping needing to be done.
As a DECA member she has been helping in various community service activities that the
organization does.
