Summary
The devil we know talks about how Iran has been in between different armed conflicts during the decades,
Iran now haves much more experience on the war field than what people would think of, the civil unrest
and constant conflicts between neighbor countries makes them experts on war tactics.
While in the US resented people with the Iranian government constantly give ideas and wrong facts to the
American politicians making Iran seem like an unstable country who need US to intervene when in reality
they are perfectly fine with their mentalities and government, that might not be perfect but what they dont
need is the threat of another country coming to invade them.
There are several ideas that Boer proposes at the end of the book most talk about leaving Iran to resolve its
own conflicts, and both countries finding solutions together as , signing an anti nuclear weapons alliance,
between other propositions that would benefit everyone because the other option and what we are actually
heading for in the eminent crash between Ian and US that would mean the loss of many lives and could end
in a nuclear war.
My comment or question about this story is:
Its a very complicated topic to talk about given all of what is behind Iran, they still havent fixed their
government form their revolution when conflict with other countries such as Turkey and US come to
them.
