Introduction
Mainstream Christianity teaches that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is one
God. They are known as the Holy Trinity. The three are equal and have the same essence but
each has a specific role. It is the Spirit in modern Pentecostal movement that is the most Holy
Trinity prominent element with the gifts of the spirit and is believed to have the power to
transform lives. The Holy Spirit for many Christians is however an elusive concept. In this Essay
on Christianity as the biggest Religion in the World, we will discuss the aspects of Christianity to
make you understand what is Christianity.
Holy Trinity
God is used in plural in a few scriptures but still refers to the One God. For instance, when God
created man and woman, He is referred to in singular and in plural form. God said in genesis,
Let us make man in our image and likeness and let them have authority over the birds of the

air, over the cattle, fish of the sea and over all the earth and every creeping creature that creeps
on earth. Therefore, God created man in the likeness of God and in his own likeness.
The doctrine and belief in Holy Trinity is a basis of Christianity. There is faith that there is One
God and three distinct persons even though they are separate. The formula is what differentiates
non-Christians from Christians. For instance, Mormons talk of God the Father, God the Son and
God the Holy Spirit but according to their doctrines, they are not one God.
They consider the names as separate gods and that there are other gods besides them. Jehovah
Witnesses additionally talk of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit but they deny the Holy
Trinity on claims that God created the son, less than the Father and that the Holy Spirit is a force
or power and not a being.
Despite the fact that there is no clear reference to the Holy Trinity, there are verses in the
scripture that mention it, the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Christians hold canonical rule
regarding Jesus Christ because it is distributed in the scriptures. It has also been established by
Catholic handlers and the learned of the same scriptures that the Son of God is equal to the father
as per the form of God he is but less than the Father on the form of servant he took after.
In either form, He was found to be less than the Father, the Holy Spirit and also less than
Himself and not who he was but less than whom He is. This is based on the fact that by taking
the form of a servant, He did not abandon the form of God as the scripture says, to which, many
Christians refer to and yet there are factors in the holy book that are put to leave it ambiguous to
the rule they are referred to.
Whether it is to what Christians comprehend the Son as the less, on the basis that he has taken
his form or that by which we understand that the Son is not less than but equal to the Father even
though he comes from Him. Substantiation has also been carried out regarding to the Holy Spirit
where the people who openly discuss the topic availed themselves that the Holy Spirit is not a
creature but also God.
Even so, if it is not a creature, then it is not only God but exceptionally God, equal to the Father
and the Son and also in the unity of the Holy Trinity consubstantial and co-eternal. The Holy
Spirit is nevertheless not a creature and is not made plain that we are all commanded to worship
only God the Creator and not the creature and also not in the intellect that we are commanded to
serve one another in Love.
God also works in different ways to bring about different people into salvation through Jesus
Christ. It all begins where God calls upon the people by the Holy Spirit. It is usually known as a
powerful call. The call is also where the Holy Spirit calls an individual by awakening his or her
heart, mind and soul to their personal need of salvation.
At this point, the Holy Spirit additionally guides us to a close association with Jesus Christ. The
effective call is also of the extraordinary God, free grace and not based on something that is
foreseen in humans, who is inactive within, until he is renewed or quickened by the Holy Spirit.

He is also empowered to answer the call, hold on to the grace and convey it. It is also seen that
an individual can believe and react to Gods grace by faith.
The Spirit is also the mediator that impacts a believers life justification. It applies the
reconciliation works of Christ to us to change our antagonism towards God into companionship
with Him. The Spirit also puts the fruit of death in justification of our Lives since the Father sent
his Son to die for all of us.
The Holy Spirit also helps in the process of sanctification being restored to the likeness of God
that takes place the life of a believer and beings at birth. It is a real transformation in the heart,
mind and soul of a Christian. Sanctification is also a process of development in Christians where
the Holy Spirit transforms the mind slowly as well as the hearts of Christians. The objective of
the Holy Spirit during the process is to create us in the image of Christ.
The Holy Spirit also operates in different ways in our lives in addition to the Salvation. He also
enables Christians to live according to the life of Christ, Intercedes for them, guides them and
illumines the believers to the whole truth. Similarly, the Holy Spirit enables Christians to defeat
sin and gives them a promise to know that they are the children of God.
Conclusion
It is believed that the Son of God is equal to the Father based on the form of God in which He is,
but less than the Father on the form of the servant He took. In either form, He was found not less
than the Father but also less than the Holy Spirit and Himself. Holy Spirit is also God and not a
creature. Even so, it is not only God but an extraordinary God, thus, equal to the Son and the
Father, and additionally in the unity of the Holy Trinity consubstantial and co-eternal.
A glorious transformation also occurs in the hearts of Christians upon receiving Jesus Christ in
their lives by faith. This is a great transformation covering exchange of worldly things for the
things God offers. It is also a transformation where those who believe in Christ are made new
creatures literally.
The Holy Spirit of God is additionally the mediator of rebirth that operates to bring about the
transformation in the heart of a person. The heart, mind and soul of an individual are places
where the Holy Spirit brings about the genuine transformation in a Christian.
