Q1) A screw jack is used for raising heavy loads through small heights (changing flat tyre of a truck). The figure below
shows details of a screw jack. Assemble all parts of the screw jack and draw half sectional front view and top view.
Decide and indicate fits to be used at appropriate places. Show the tolerances on the component drawing on the separate
sheet attached herewith, with justification on the reverse of the sheet.

Q2) An assembly and component drawing of bench vice is shown below. Discuss and understand
the functionalities of all the parts; study the assembly and component drawings and then show on
the given assembly and component orthographic drawings (do not make fresh drawings)
a) the required fit at appropriate places on the assembly drawing.
b) the tolerances to be used in bench vice components based on the fit you decided.
