unit for Indoor plants. Students

understand Indoor plant pests

Students will be able to identify
common greenhouse/horticulture
plants, local Fall herbs,
vegetables, and flowers

Learning activity
Students will take time in class
to research different jobs in
the plant field trying to
understand the different types
of plants and the jobs that
correspond with them.

Students will have I.D. plants


to learn. Some of the common
greenhouse plants will be in
the greenhouse so students
will have the plants in person.

Students will be asked how to
grow cool-weather vegetables.
Students will be asked to describe
the structure of the I.D. plant
taxonomy.

Students will get the chance


to learn how to grow coolweather vegetables and
herbs. They will get the handson skill by doing so in the
greenhouse
