Week in Class:
Bible: Paul's First Two Missionary

Journeys

charlotte's web Continues Last week we began our second literature book,
Math: Word Problems

Charlotte's Web. Students are working in notebooks that include both reading and
grammar activities. We will use a variety of strategies to read this book, some with
Reading: Charlotte's Web

partners and some individually. So far they are doing a great job with their individual

responsibilities. These books will not be coming home until the end so if you would like to

see how your child is doing, please feel free to drop by the classroom or email me. I will

Art: Meet the Masters

Fantasy or Science Fiction Book Project

is due at the end of May. A Fantasy book is

any book that uses magic and imagination. A science fiction book uses imagined future
scientific or technological advances, and it is common to include space and time travel. It
is Due May 25.
