    Band).Ittakesintricatecommunicationtobeinanensemble.Wehavetoknownot
    onlyourspecificparts,butthepartsoftheothermusicianstobetterunderstandthe
    pieceasawhole.Youhavetocommunicatewitheachotherwhatthemelodyis,
    whohasit,andhowitshouldbeplayedtoensurethepieceisperformedproperly.

    Everyoneisamemberoftheteam.Inband,eachindividualisimportant.Thereis
    nobenchinbandisaphraseIhaveheardineveryensemblesettingIhaveplayed
    in.Ensemblesworkasoneentity.Theycommunicatewitheachotherwithout
