Y6 Robinwood
There will be a meeting on Wednesday
25th June from 3.20pm to 4.00pm for
the parents of Y6 children who are
going to Robinwood

Harris Family Picnic at the Proms

A reminder that we are planning a
celebration of music and dance on the
evening of Friday 15th July. The
standards of music and dance in our
school are excellent and well worth
celebrating! Weather permitting, we
will hold the event on our school field.
This will be a Last Night of the
Proms style event with every child
involved, from Reception to Year 6.
There will be opportunities for
audience participation (Land of Hope
and Glory anyone?) and items from the
school choir, band, dance and recorder
groups. We hope you will be able to
join us and bring a picnic tea to enjoy
on the night. The PTFA are supporting
the organisation of this event and
further details will be available nearer
the time. Please make sure this date
is booked in your diary.

Summer uniform
It is lovely to see some of our
children in summer uniform
(dresses, shorts etc). Please
remember that girls should be
wearing white socks and boys
should wear grey socks. Thank
you for supporting our uniform
policy.

PTFA Meeting
The next PTFA Meeting will be
on Monday 9th May at 7.30pm at
the Guild Merchant. All welcome.

Sports Day
Our annual Sports Day will be
held on Thursday 9th June at
UCLAN Sports Arena. Parents
will need to drop children off at
the Arena on this day. Further
details to follow soon. The
reserve date if cancelled will be
Wednesday 15th June on the
school field.

Leadership badges

Our Leadership Award Scheme is

unique to our school and the
children are learning valuable
lessons as they collect their
stickers and badges. They should
be proud of their achievements in
this area so please encourage
them to wear their badges every
day.

It would be super if your child

could come dressed
appropriately. Please do not go
to too much expense.
A letter will be sent home
nearer the time.

Y4 children to Broughton
High School on Wednesday
afternoons for 4 weeks from
11.5.16.

Remember that your childs welfare is important to us. If you have any
concerns please contact your childs class teacher, our Learning Mentor
Mrs Wright or Mrs Gregory.
We are usually available at some point during every day but if its
something that needs a proper discussion, please avoid the start of the
day if possible, as we are busy sorting the children out at this time.
